“ Absolutely loved the food here! The South Indian dishes were spot on and the non-veg options were delicious too! The ambience was cozy and perfect for a casual dinner. I highly recommend trying their biryani and fish fry . Great value for money! ”
“ If you’re craving proper Andhra-style food in the capital, this place is an absolute gem! From the classic spicy Andhra thali to the flavorful chicken biryani, everything tastes just like home. It’s rare to find such authentic South Indian spice and flavor in Delhi, and this place nails it perfectly. Since it’s located near India Gate, it’s almost always crowded even on weekdays. So, if you’re planning to visit on a weekend, be ready to wait at least 15–20 minutes. I went after 3 PM on a weekend and luckily managed to get a table without much hassle. The food is served fresh and hot, and every dish has that signature Andhra kick. Spicy, tangy, and full of flavor. The only downside is the pricing. It’s slightly on the expensive side. But honestly, you can’t really complain because you won’t find this kind of authentic Andhra taste anywhere else in Delhi. If you’re from Andhra or just love South Indian food that’s full of spice and soul, this spot is a must-try. Totally worth the wait! ”
“ The Andhra bhavan / telengana bhavan canteen takes the patron back to the days when tiffin centers were common even in Delhi before they were taken over by expensive inauthentic “cafe” and “bistros”. Highly recommend to visit again and again. Food is delicious , authenticity, quality guaranteed. Ambience is simple . Staff is polite , respectful and will do their best to accommodate your needs. Seating is on two floors. Parking for canteen visitors is outside the main gate but it’s the norm so no issues. Prices are reasonable . ”
“ I recently visited Andhra Pradesh Bhawan at night and had a wonderful dining experience at their canteen. Everything was delightful, especially the food. The vegetarian thali was tasty and unlimited—just like home-cooked meals, all for just ₹220. ”
“ I recently had the opportunity to try food at Andhra Pradesh Bhavan Canteen, and it turned out to be a truly satisfying experience. The food was authentic, flavorful, and gave a real taste of South Indian cuisine. The spices were perfectly balanced, with a slightly spicy kick that made every bite enjoyable and memorable. The meal felt homely yet rich in traditional flavors, especially the rice, dal, and curry combinations. Everything was served fresh and in good quantity, making it great value for money. The simplicity of the place adds to its charm, focusing more on quality food than fancy presentation. One of the best things about this place is its consistency and authenticity. If you’re someone who enjoys genuine South Indian meals, this is definitely worth visiting. Overall, it was a delicious and fulfilling experience that I would happily recommend to others. ”
